'Dutch Tulip Fields' series. (DTFS01)

£175.00

Laser cut birch plywood, acrylic paint & wood adhesive.

Approximately: L333mm x W330mm x D17mm

  • Unique

  • Dated: 2021

  • Signed by artist on reverse.

  • Accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.

  • Interlocking wall mounting plates included (x2).

The artist visited the tulip growing regions of Holland during 2019. A growing desire for form & simplicity, has enabled this body of painted works to explore a botanical & architectural model; where the colour embodies the structure. Laser-cut birch plywood & sleek, circular fields of saturated, clean, hard-edged & botanically inspired colour appear to float on the surfaces of the wall, casting shadows. The resulting works are a hybrid of sculpture & painting - a delicate visual language of colour & form.
